TOOL  of the Year for 2009 :

De-stress Kit for Changing Times.

LA is a HeartMath 1:1 provider and will be hosting an on-going meet-up group reviewing the De-stress Kit concepts. If you or someone you know may benefit, please check the calendar or email me for the next meeting.

Please enjoy this booklet or share with those who matter most. I had a sobering reminder of the seriousness of stress when I spoke with a  Galveston friend recently. They stated they'd experienced their first post-Hurricane Ike suicide of a friend, who wasn't coping well after losing a job and dealing with the destruction of their island life as they knew it.

The experts in Post-Traumatic Stress indicate it's 90 days+ after a traumatic event when symptoms worsen. That puts us at "now" post-Ike in the Houston-Galveston areas of Texas. Please read or share the distress kit above.

Consequences of  these types of events: recovery from natural disasters, recovery from 'financial disasters' in  the current economy, families separated through military service are prolonged periods of stress.  If not recognized and interventative measures taken prolonged stress turns into burnout.  Burnout is often then accoumpanied by denial of feelings, anger, hostility, and low self-esteem. Serious depression may occur if  no intervention is taken.

Prevent serious risks to your health like depression. Learn the life skills that support you living well and promote your well-being!
